SUMMARY This is a course predominately for dentists specialising in cosmetic dentistry and restorations. Providing an in-depth look at concepts, procedures and products to enhance the durability of restorations. Learning how to use the new computer aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) and other digital technology for restoring function and providing life like aesthetic prosthetics with newly introduced high strength ceramic systems.

Dr. Nasser Barghi is professor in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School, at San Antonio, Texas. He received his post-doctoral certificate in prosthodontics from Temple University. He has presented more than 1000 didactic and hands-on clinic courses in over 35 countries. Dr. Barghi is a member of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics and the International Association for Dental Research. He is past president of the American Equilibration Society and holds membership in many professional dental organizations.

 

Dr. Barghi is the author and the co-author of numerous articles and abstracts and has completed a great amount of research on bonding new aesthetic materials and etched porcelain bonded restorations. He has lectured extensively in the United States and abroad on the topic of aesthetic dentistry.
