Myobrace®for Adults is a three-stage appliance system used in the permanent dentition. Although the appliances are still very effective at correcting breathing and myofunctional disorders, little to no remaining growth combined with long-standing poor habits result in less effective orthodontic outcomes. As such, this appliance range is almost always combined with additional arch development techniques and sometimes braces or clear aligners.

Establish nasal breathing and habit correction

The A1 focuses on establishing nasal breathing and myofunctional habit correction. It is soft and flexible, which gives the best compliance, while adapting to any arch form and malocclusion. It has small breathing holes to establish continuous nasal breathing and myofunctional features to promote correct habits. Only move to the A2 when the A1 is staying in overnight and nasal breathing has been established.

The design features of the A1 are suited to establish nasal breathing and the initial correction of myofunctional disorders in the permanent dentition.
